This had to come and yes from me. I am one of those (if not the only one) who is not supported by my home institution. Basically to say i am no longer on the payroll of my home institution. Literaly my family and I have to survive on the stipend that i am receiving here. Thats a tough one. They sent me 2 months stipend, the start up and educational allowance and it wouldnt have come at a better time for me to pay my mortgage and educational fees for my kids. But what happens the first 2 months to me in the USA?? Anyone in the same situation??

Thanks Mahmoud. I can safely say i have settled on what i have now and the grass is greener ahead. Its definately not going to be easy but i think what lays ahead as worth the sacrifice. Thanks

Hi Marukurita,
I can imagine how difficult it must have been for you after being taken off the Payroll of your Home Institution and then starting on the Fellowship.
I can imagine that because I was in a similar situation. My advise to you is to perserver. The exposure to the Clinical Research world is worth it.
