The Symposium will examine how research can help to reduce threats to health in low - middle income countries, focusing on the following topics:
 
Climate change and neglected tropical diseases
Traditional health systems in fragile settings - insights from Burundi
Trust in pharmaceuticals in Ghana and Tanzania
Stigma and medication use in young Tanzanians with epilepsy
 
The Symposium is FREE to attend, but places are limited.There is no funding available for participants' travel, accommodation or subsistence.
 
Online participation is availble via Twitter - hashtag#DU_GHS - to send questions to the speakers and to receive symposium updates
